I had a "Thing"
Just moved back to Jennings November 2021. I was making pet snacks for mum and I. Wanted to share with others. If my dogs needed healthy so did others.
Started with 2 small dehydrators a 10 and a 12 tray. I began selling them in plastic bags. YUCK.
Issues:
It was plastic. It looked cheap and not appealing. If dodgy had an image, this would be among them. There was no labelling to distinguish what it was, who made it or where it even came from.
Only a few wanted it. I really felt bad about it how they looked. Oh and, of course, IF I was going to sell to the public, I did not have enough dehydrators.
Choices:
I could stop selling — yet I had already decided this was not an option. I still made them for us so why not more, I needed to consider what type of bags I would get. Then think about some kind of labelling.
Solution:
I got creative. Designed a label, I already had the image of the bearded dragon I had drawn years ago. Sourced some white tin tie bags. Got some labels. Invested a little in me.
Next I purchased two slightly bigger dehydrators, the plastic shelf liners and sourced liver supplies.
AJ’s Pet snacks was officially a thing.
